How to Use Dashboard Calculator

Five minutes from install to your first KPI.

1. Add the widget

Dashboard → Add widget → Dashboard Calculator. Connect the boards you need (Connect boards, top left).

2. Pick a shape

Single number, Number vs target, or Table by category. You can add more tiles later.

3. Define a number

Board → Items or Subitems → Column → Aggregation. Add a Where condition to count only what matches, e.g. Stage is Won. Give it a name like won.

4. Calculate

Choose won ‘as % of’ leads for a percentage, or Edit as formula for anything else: {won} / ({won} + {lost}) * 100.

5. Make it look right

Format (%, $, h:mm), decimals, colour by value, a target, or vs previous period. Save.

6. Add tiles and check the working

+ Add tile for more KPIs in the same widget.
Show calculation on any tile to see the formula and the rows behind it.
Export for an image, Excel or CSV.

Tips

Tip: Open the widget full screen while editing.

Tip: Numbers are shared by all tiles in a widget.

Tip: The dashboard filter applies to every tile; the chip shows when it is on.

Privacy

Dashboard Calculator is 100% client-side. It reads boards only (boards:read) and writes nothing to them. Only each widget's settings are stored, in monday.com app storage. See our security statement.
