Privacy Policy

Introduction

Elephatech ("we," "our," or "us") builds marketplace apps for platforms including monday.com, Zendesk, Freshworks (Freshdesk), Zoho CRM, and others. This Privacy Policy explains how our apps handle data across all platforms and all apps we publish.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Our apps are designed to process data entirely within your browser — we do not collect, transmit, or store your data on external servers.

Client-Side Processing

All Elephatech apps run entirely client-side in your web browser. Data is fetched from the host platform (monday.com, Zendesk, Freshdesk, Zoho CRM, etc.) using the platform's official SDK, processed locally in your browser, and displayed to you. At no point does your data leave the platform environment.

Data Accessed by Our Apps

Each app accesses only the minimum data required for its functionality. All access is read-only unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Board Heatmap (monday.com)

  • Board columns (date and timeline column types)
  • Items and subitems (names and column values)
  • Group names

All data is accessed read-only via the monday.com SDK. No data is modified, stored externally, or transmitted.

Quick Charts (Zendesk)

  • Ticket data (status, priority, type, channel, assignee)
  • Satisfaction ratings
  • Views (for scoping chart data)

All data is accessed read-only via the Zendesk Apps Framework (ZAF) SDK. No data is modified, stored externally, or transmitted.

Pivot Tables (monday.com)

  • Board columns (status, numbers, date, people, dropdown, formula, text)
  • Items and subitems (names and column values)
  • Group names

Data is accessed read-only via the monday.com SDK. Pivot page configurations (column IDs, filter settings, view preferences) are stored via the monday.com Storage API. No PII is stored — only field identifiers and display settings. No data is modified, stored externally, or transmitted.

Time Tracking Dashboard (Freshdesk)

  • Time entries (hours logged, billable status, execution dates, notes)
  • Agent information (names, IDs)
  • Company information (names, IDs)
  • Ticket metadata (IDs, subjects — fetched only when viewing drill-down details or exporting reports)

Data is accessed read-only via the Freshdesk REST API using the platform's built-in request templates. Billing rate configurations (hourly rates per client and currency preference) are stored via Freshdesk's built-in Data Store (FDK Key-Value Storage) within your account. This configuration data resides entirely within your Freshdesk account, is not transmitted to any external server, and is automatically deleted when you uninstall the app. All data processing and chart rendering happens client-side in your browser.

Deal Slippage Counter (Zoho CRM)

  • Deal data (name, amount, stage, owner, closing date)
  • Custom extension fields (push count, slip days, original close date)
  • Custom extension modules (Slippage Logs, Weekly Snapshots)
  • Org Variables (extension settings and summary statistics)
  • User information (name, profile, role — for admin detection)

Deal data is accessed via the Zoho CRM Widget SDK. The extension writes to custom fields and custom modules created by the extension to track close-date changes. Extension settings are stored in Zoho Org Variables. All data remains within Zoho CRM — nothing is transmitted externally. On uninstall, custom module data and fields are preserved as orphaned data within the CRM.

No Data Collection

Elephatech apps do not:

  • Collect any personal data or personally identifiable information
  • Use cookies, local storage, or browser fingerprinting
  • Include analytics, tracking pixels, or telemetry of any kind
  • Share data with third parties
  • Profile users or track behavior across sessions

No Backend Servers

Elephatech does not operate any backend servers, databases, or external services. All computation happens either in your browser using the host platform's official SDK, or within the host platform's own server-side automation (e.g., Zoho Deluge functions that run within Zoho's infrastructure). No data is transmitted to Elephatech or any third party.

Platform-Native Storage

Some apps store user preferences (such as selected columns or color themes) using the host platform's native storage mechanisms:

  • monday.com apps: Preferences stored via the monday.com Storage API
  • Zendesk apps: Preferences stored via the Zendesk app settings API
  • Freshworks apps: Configuration stored via the FDK Data Store (Key-Value Storage) within your Freshdesk account
  • Zoho CRM apps: Settings stored via Zoho Org Variables (Custom Properties)

This data is managed entirely by the host platform and is subject to that platform's own data handling policies. Elephatech does not have direct access to this stored data outside the app context.

Data on Uninstall

When you uninstall an Elephatech app, any preferences stored via platform-native storage are handled by the respective platform according to their own policies. Since we do not store any data externally, there is nothing for us to delete.

Payments

Payment processing for our apps is handled entirely by the respective marketplace platforms:

  • Zendesk marketplace apps: Billing is managed by Zendesk using Stripe as the payment processor. Elephatech does not directly collect, process, or store any payment information.
  • monday.com marketplace apps: Billing is managed by monday.com through their own billing system. Elephatech does not directly collect, process, or store any payment information.
  • Freshworks marketplace apps: Billing is managed by Freshworks through their marketplace billing system. Elephatech does not directly collect, process, or store any payment information.
  • Zoho Marketplace apps: Billing is managed by Zoho through their marketplace billing system. Elephatech does not directly collect, process, or store any payment information.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
